The microbiological method of processing manure involves the use of special microbiological

crops that can be added to manure. These organisms convert the nutrients contained in the manure into a form that is easily absorbed by plants. Microbiological methods for processing manure can be divided into two types:

  • natural ;
  • artificial.

With natural methods, the transformation of the components of manure by microorganisms occurs in natural conditions - in the air. For example, in piles or sedimentation tanks. Artificial methods involve the processing of manure in special containers - aeration tanks or metatanks. In the first case (an aerobic process, in which the activity of aerobic bacteria is activated), manure is enriched with oxygen, and in the second case (anaerobic process) biogas, which contains methane, produces methane-forming bacteria during the fermentation of liquid manure.

  • Economy. The cost of 1 ton of such fuel will be cheaper than the corresponding amount of wood or coal.
  • Possibility of self-production.

Disadvantages are also present. The main one is the fear of moisture. You cannot store them in the open air, because. they will quickly absorb moisture, therefore, they will not burn well. Therefore, it is necessary to allocate a dry room for storage.

Any significant mechanical impact on sawdust briquettes is contraindicated. If you buy special equipment for their manufacture, the cost will be high and not always justified.

It is profitable to establish handicraft production if the sawdust is free, and existing equipment can be used as an installation.
