A feminine perspective on 3D modeling: first experience is my napkin holder

I came to modeling in the Compass 3D program relatively recently. And after looking at several lessons on the Internet, I got the idea to come up with something of my own. This is my first experience in both modeling and design. But I was pleased with the result - it turned out to be a pretty Christmas tree napkin holder, which is also useful in the household. I'll tell you about the birth of an idea, the development of a design. Perhaps a lesson on modeling will be useful to someone. I will also leave a link to download the finished model.

Actually, it turned out not quite as I imagined. But I really liked this result. Plus, as they say, appetite comes with eating - I got another cool napkin holder. And the model of the Christmas tree turned out to be so functional that it can be modified as you like. But first things first.

How the idea of the Yolka napkin holder was born

Several years ago on the Internet I saw an original napkin holder in the form of a girl.

There are a lot of options for girls-napkin holders now. Examples from the Internet.

But the hands have not reached either to buy it or to order it. So the question, what should I model, was resolved quickly. I don't really like to repeat ideas from the Internet, and such a napkin holder is not at all a know-how nowadays (although I will soon get a similar thing). And I thought about the Christmas tree. At the moment, this is the simplest construction that I can master. Now let's get down to business.

Women's approach to design

Since this is the first experience and I do not own all the Compass 3D tools, the goal was to create the simplest design that I could display in the program. And without unnecessary complications. What I did:

1. I figured out how the trunk would be attached to the base.

The fact is that girls' napkin holders have a flat body, running along the width of the entire base, which gives the structure stability. And I have a "stick". It would be easier to make a thick base with a thread inside the center, but it's a pity to ruin plastic on it. Then I decided to simplify the task - to put the rack in the cylinder. But I was convinced that this is not very reliable. They offered to make a rack with stiffening ribs and taught me how to model it in Compass 3D (it turned out to be not so difficult). Then it turned out like this:

Professional makeup artists don't see a problem in the impending century. Their numerous makeup options will be able to beautifully design any eyes.

Learning how to do makeup correctly for the impending century is quite possible at home. The classic shape of the eyes does not save you from failures in applying cosmetics.

How to hide a drooping eyelid with makeup? There is nothing difficult in this, if you know certain rules and secrets.

This feature of the structure cannot be called a drawback, rather even a highlight. With the right approach, the overhanging eyelid can be properly shaped and turn an imaginary flaw into a real dignity.

Make-up for the overhanging eyelid and eye enlargement should serve several functions: to open the gaze and make it as clear as possible.

Girls know that this feature often adds fatigue and even age to nonexistent. The visage technique assumes the responsibility of visually raising the eyelid.

By the way, even many stars are familiar with the problem of the overhanging century, the photo clearly shows this:

If you apply sparkling shadows to the entire eyelid, you get the effect of out of proportion. The situation will only get worse.

  • Liquid eyeliner is also canceled. There is a decent alternative in the form of shadows and pencils.
  • Graphic lines are another enemy of the impending century. All contours and sharp transitions should be carefully shaded.

By changing the shape of the eyebrows, you can divert attention from the impending century. A slightly raised eyebrow will correct the problem. Hair can be made thin. Bulky and thick eyebrows are not the best option for a hooded eyelid. It is the tip that requires special attention. He should playfully climb up. Of course, within reasonable limits.
