Jute heaters appeared relatively recently in our country, but very quickly gained wide popularity. What kind of material is this and why did builders love it so much - we answer these and other questions.
This is a natural material that is produced from the plant of the same name that grows in the warm tropical regions of Southeast Asia: China, Bangladesh, India. In addition to the production of insulation, ropes, ropes, sacks and other textiles from burlap are also made from jute. Jute fiber gives the product an eco-friendly, “craft” look. And in our cuts, the southern guest successfully opposes traditional materials for insulation - moss, hemp and tow made of linen and hemp, wool-based insulation.
People have noticed the high moisture resistance of jute bags used to transport coffee, sugar and rice, which are afraid of moisture. Therefore, the decision to use it as a mezhventsovy insulation was the next logical step.
There are many answers to this question. Perhaps its first advantage is that jute is an absolutely natural, environmentally friendly material, in which there are no toxic elements. There are hybrid jute heaters on the market containing synthetic fibers, but jute itself is completely harmless.
The next significant plus is moisture resistance. Good hygroscopic properties make jute a particularly good choice for timber construction.
It is also important for builders that jute insulation is easy to install. This does not require special equipment and protective equipment. During processing jute does not generate dust and volatiles.
Good strength characteristics. Jute fibers in insulation are characterized by high rigidity. This means that such an inter-lead insulator will not deform or collapse in a short time. Moreover, there is a lot of lignin (a natural resin polymer) in jute, which not only increases the strength of the substances included in the fiber, but glues the insulation to the surrounding crowns. And even with this, lignin does not exhaust itself - a pleasant bonus is that it prevents rotting and prevents mold from appearing.
When we build a house from a bar, we expect it to "breathe". Jute insulation with its good vapor permeability helps to maintain a healthy and comfortable indoor climate.
Also, jute is a universal solution not only for mezhventsovy insulation. It is quite suitable as insulation for interfloor ceilings, floors, walls and roofs.
And the last but not the least advantage on our list (which was already mentioned above) is the appearance. Jute is perfect for wooden buildings, emphasizing their environmental friendliness and naturalness.
