But last year they bought not one, but as many as three apartments in an old St. Petersburg house and, finally, were able to reunite. Today, in the Homius review, we will tell you about all the details of a large-scale renovation and show the final result.
After the birth of her second son, Elizaveta Boyarskaya decided to improve her living conditions. The actress found out that three apartments were being sold in an old building on Belinsky Street and immediately applied for participation in the auction. The final price of the apartments turned out to be 30% cheaper than the declared one. Previously, the home belonged to the former head of the restoration company and was put up for sale for debts.
The house was built in the 18th century, but in the eighties of the last century it was demolished. In 2005, the old house was completely restored, but with the use of modern technologies. At the same time, the status of a cultural heritage was preserved for him.
The spouses decided to combine three apartments, as a result they became the full owners of apartments in the center of St. Petersburg with an area of 600 sq. m. It took the star family only six months to carry out repairs and interior decoration.
Collectible beige tiles with spectacular brown accents have been laid on the floor in a small hallway. The perfectly plastered walls were decorated with linear moldings and painted in a rich terracotta color. An antique solid wood chest of drawers with curly legs was placed here. Its facades are decorated with elegant carvings. Opposite they hung a large rectangular mirror in a strict dark frame.
The walls of the terracotta hallway were decorated with paintings in classic baguette frames. For the decoration of the corridors, we chose a warm gray shade, against which the built-in tall wardrobes of snow-white color look spectacular. Oak parquet was laid on the floor in all rooms with a French herringbone.

For many years Irina Alferova could not decide to renovate her small apartment, in which some things were made by the hands of her famous husband Alexander Abdulov. However, time takes its toll, and the actress finally decided on a radical change in the interior, especially since the designers of the famous TV show have long been offering their help. Today in the Homius review we will tell you about all the intricacies of the repair, which made an indelible impression on Irina Alferova.
In Soviet times, apartments were given completely free of charge according to the order and lists that were kept in each organization. So, some time after the marriage, Irina Alferova and Alexander Abdulov became the owners of three-room apartments in the famous house on Pokrovka. The building in the past belonged to Natalia Golitsyna, who was the prototype of the Queen of Spades for Alexander Pushkin.
In those years it was difficult to get something, and it was necessary to show creative imagination to make the interior unique, different from typical Soviet renovations. Alexander Abdulov came up with the original zoning of the living room and used bookcases as a partition. Another know-how of the talented actor is a home-made fireplace, which remained unfinished. All the years Irina Alferova has been covering this unique creation with a rare armchair.
The designers first of all appreciated the antique solid wood furniture in the living room of Irina Alferova and decided to restore it. The Italian furniture was in excellent condition, all that was needed was to update the upholstery and decorative elements. In this regard, a classic style was chosen for the decoration of the room, but with a modern touch. This combination will emphasize the historical identity of the building and bring home coziness and comfort to the atmosphere.
The designers decided to increase the space by adding 30 sq. m another 8 sq. m entrance hall. Thus, a more functional room, filled with light, has turned out.

He is not afraid of humidity and temperature extremes.
The floor covering was dismantled to the base and a single-strip board was laid on a special substrate. This is a design material, the surface of which, thanks to brushing, has acquired an unusual texture and stylish appearance.
The doors were also replaced with snow-white canvases decorated with patina. They fit perfectly into the classic interior of the living room. A wide floor plinth was matched to the tone.

The whole family spends most of their time in their country mansion located on Nikolina Gora. A new brick estate was built on the site of an old family nest, which eventually fell into disrepair.

Gradually, it was surrounded by peasant households, and after the revolution, representatives of the cultural nobility began to build private dachas. The Mikhalkov clan moved to the village in 1949.
