Torture, drunken bullying, constant sophisticated humiliation of human dignity - this is what hundreds of Ukrainians have gone through, who have been in the prisons of the "LPNR". One of them - Donetsk Izolyatsia - is now known far beyond the borders of the "republics", reports the Gorlovka city newspaper "Kochegarka".
Donchanin Andrey Kochmuradov is one of those who happened to be in the dungeons of the so-called MGB operating on the territory of ORDLO. He and his wife were arrested in October 2017, allegedly for spying for the SBU.
The next year and a half Kochmuradov spent in Izolyatsia prison - the former art space of Donetsk, which turned into a real concentration camp. The place, which was once dominated by modern culture, is famous for the brutal torture of the prisoners there.
It's hard for Kochmuradov to even remember what happened there. He only briefly says that the guards inserted electrical wires into the anus and shocked the male prisoners, while the women were raped in various ways. Not far from their cell was a woman - it is difficult to describe in words those heart-rending screams that came from her, the former prisoner says sparingly.
“Especially inhuman, cruel people have gathered in the Izolyatsia security guard,” says Kochmuradov. "But what made them so out of control on the part of international observation missions." During the entire time that he was in captivity, the Ukrainian did not see a single representative of the OSCE or the Red Cross. After his release, he met with representatives of these structures, who confessed in private conversations: they are aware of the catastrophic human rights situation in Donetsk and Luhansk. But they cannot do anything about it.
Officially, there are about 12 prisons in the “DPR”, where there are less than 9 thousand people. prisoners. But Isolation belongs to the so-called unofficial places of detention. According to the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine, there are more than 160 such “points” in the “LDNR” through which more than 3.5 thousand illegally detained persons passed from 2014 to 2019. And according to information from the SBU that NV received, torture occurs there on a regular basis.
Official papers of the special service describe this dryly: various tortures were used in Izolyatsia, including “water procedures” - lowering the prisoner's head into a bucket of water or pouring naked prisoners on the street in frost. Mentioned and "inhalation" - this is when the prisoner is closed alone, on the floor of which chlorine is generously scattered. It is filled with water, which leads to the release of a suffocating gas.
Approximately 1 thousand people passed through Izolyatsia - not only pro-Ukrainian activists, who were called “Germans” here, but also local businessmen, as well as “militias” who were fined.
For political prisoners in the "LPNR" there are also "official" places of detention, no less terrible: pre-trial detention center No. 5 of Donetsk, a special cell-type barrack of the 97th colony in Makeyevka, the basement of the "MGB" in Horlivka. In addition, in two colonies in Makeyevka and in a couple of "posts" of the Donetsk pre-trial detention center, prisoners of the Ukrainian military are being held.
Still, most of these people, according to human rights activist Pavel Lisyansky, end up in places like Izolyatsia. As a rule, these are abandoned mines, former industrial zones and endless basements in the buildings of "power structures".
The ORDLO punitive system is copied from the Russian one, says the human rights activist. This is not surprising: according to the SBU, the “prisons” and “basements” in the “LPNR” have curators from the FSB of the Russian Federation who have full lists of prisoners in their hands. "All the processes that are related to ORDLO are supervised by the presidential department for cross-border cooperation," Lisyansky is sure.
Isolation Prison in Donbas has a rich biography. On Donetskaya Street, Svetlyi Put, 3, the premises of the former factory for the production of insulation materials are located, which ceased operations in the 1990s. From 2010 to 2014, the Izolyatsia art fund was located on this territory, where performances and exhibitions were held. And then the first prisoners were brought here. So the cultural space turned into hell, the very mention of which frightens many residents of the "DPR".
For many years before the pandemic, German residents had the opportunity to observe how certain groups of workers exercise their right to strike
this right is reserved for German citizens in the constitution
strikes in the transport industry were particularly sensitive
train drivers, airplane pilots, flight attendants, airport security officials and others have fought for their rights.
demanded higher wages, early retirement and other benefits
and each time "randomly" the timing of the strike turned out to be the most inconvenient time for other citizens
the period of vacations and vacations is just beginning when planes stop carrying citizens because someone is on strike
train and electric train drivers did not strike on Sunday, but exclusively on weekdays
well, it just so happened that people go to work
There have been strikes in other industries as well, but who cares that insurance agents don't work from 9 to 12 on Wednesday? right, nobody
