Where is this street, where is this house

Turning on the TV to watch this or that movie, the viewer sometimes does not even realize that he has already seen these interiors or landscapes more than once in other films. "AiF" learned what "circumstances of the place" wander from tape to tape.

Odessa on Mosfilmovskaya street

The television film by Sergei Ursulyak based on the works of Mikhail Zhvanetsky "Odessa Steamship" and the film "Odessa" by Valery Todorovsky were filmed at Mosfilm in the same scenery.

They were originally built for the drama "Odessa" by Valery Todorovsky, which he filmed in 2018 based on the story of Dmitry Ivanov. The legendary picturesque city by the sea, in which the main characters are trapped (according to the plot, a cholera epidemic breaks out in Odessa), is the "handiwork" of the production designer Vladimir Gudilin and his team. On the account of Vladimir Vladimirovich - about 30 famous films: "The Romanovs: The Crowned Family", "The Geographer Drank the Globe", the TV series "Thaw", "Demons", etc.

Then, in the same "Odessa" scenery, where the family drama of the Davydovs took place, the comedy by Sergei Ursulyak based on the works of Mikhail Zhvanetsky was filmed, which recently won the Golden Eagle in the Best Mini-Series nomination.

“I saw that the decoration had already been worked out by Valera Todorovsky. Therefore, we turned to him and to the producer of the film, Lyona Yarmolnik: your picture is already out, but ours will not be clear when, could you give us the right to use this set? And they allowed it. With me this is the first time my tape is filmed in the scenery of another film. But in this case it was a very justified situation, because the context is different, and the topic is completely different. And the relationship between our countries has changed so much that there is no longer an opportunity to go there with a film expedition. And I am still banned from entering Ukraine. Although in real Odessa, every piece of the city was filmed in at least 3-4 films. It's just that they are presented differently by directors and artists ", - told" AiF "director of" Odessa Steamship "Sergei Ursulyak.

How Petersburg became Tiflis

Mosfilm has a set called “St. Petersburg - Moscow”. By the way, you can visit it as part of a tour of the film studio. A whole town is built here: squares, streets, parks and front gardens, shops, a church, taverns, old houses - all of them made of plasterboard, but with real tin roofs.

This one-hectare decoration was created by the master of Mosfilm - the famous production designer Lyudmila Kusakova, People's Artist of the Russian Federation, laureate of the USSR and Russian Federation State Prizes, who worked on the tapes "An Ordinary Miracle", "Pokrovskie Vorota" , “City of Zero”, etc. The production designer Sergey Fevralev helped Lyudmila Mikhailovna in the construction of this “city”.

Initially, the set was erected for the 2004 painting "A Horseman named Death" by Karen Shakhnazarov. The film takes place in Russia at the beginning of the 20th century. The Fighting Organization community in different cities is committing a series of bloody terrorist acts against the leaders of the Russian Empire. The main target of the terrorists is the Grand Duke. For his murder, the head of the terrorist organization Georges (Andrei Panin) and his loving Erna (Ksenia Rappoport) will not stand up for the price.

Where is this street, where is this house

Sooner or later, but in our city the place of large old "suitcases" will be taken by small new runabouts. This is facilitated by many circumstances: customs duties, the rise in fuel prices, and the gradual introduction of high environmental standards, etc. That is how it is. But what will come in return? It will be visible, of course, but even now there is already some choice. For example, Škoda Fabia. Let's take a look at the future city.

The car is equipped with a simple key that can only open / close door locks and turn on / off the ignition. The key itself contains an immobilizer chip with a recognition function.

Well, with something, but it's hard to surprise me with Skoda. There are so many of them running around the city. But when a test subject was brought up to the salon, I was not surprised, because the word "surprised" does not at all reflect what happened in the end. My jaw just dropped! It seems to be nothing out of the ordinary: go to the car, pull the door handle, throw the wardrobe trunk into the back seat, get behind the wheel yourself ... yes! In Škoda, this is not the case: I came up, opened the door with the key, but only mine, the driver’s one, was opened… hmmm; I put my hand into the salon, trying to pull out the lock button on the door, - I can't grab hold of it, it's drowned ... that's how bad luck, in the Zhiguli it's even easier; already writhing, he reached for the inner handle of the rear door, pulled, and only then the entrance to the rear seats is open. As you understand, alas, there is no central lock in the car. And, as it turned out, this is only the beginning - there is still a lot of things missing.

If the front end of the Fabia is more friendly, then the rear end combines a certain perkiness. In the dark, the glow of the parking lights looks especially impressive

I threw the wardrobe trunk, I look at the car. Fabia has undergone a restyling last year. Outwardly, nothing special. Well, the headlights are different, some more little things. The main thing is that the appearance has not changed. Such a compact, friendly hatch. I think it's for the best. If it were still red, it would bring more joy. From a certain angle, the Fabia is very much like the English Mini. Not all, of course, but the roof with the front black pillars - for sure. By the way, both outside and inside. In general terms, the design of the Fabia is simple, no frills. You can only find fault with the wheel arches, which are clearly large for regular wheels.

The salon shocked. I perfectly understand what the basic equipment of modern cars is, but I didn't even have to think about it! Once behind the wheel, of course, he began to adjust the Fabia for himself. The hand habitually began to look for buttons / joysticks for adjusting the mirrors and ... Well, well! There is no such luxury as electrically adjustable mirrors. Everything must be done manually. But the steering wheel is adjustable in two planes - that's the contrast!

I settled down, now the time has come quietly again ... well, let's just say, to be surprised. When our editor-in-chief was at the launch of the production of this model, he told something about such a version without a glove compartment and on oars, but somehow it flew past our ears, and okay. And then I saw it with my own eyes. Fabia doesn't really have a glove compartment. Absolutely not! Instead, there are two niches on the dashboard, which are not covered by anything from prying eyes. There's nothing to hide in Fabia!

And what is not in this car! There is no air conditioner, there are no windows on the buttons, there is no radio tape recorder or even the simplest radio receiver either! Even the rear seat back can only be folded in whole, and not in parts, as it has become the norm for all cars of this kind.

Or maybe Fabia will justify that considerable amount that is asked for it in a car dealership on the go? The manual transmission works very well. The shifting is clear, the efforts on the lever are small, the fixation of the lever in the desired position is excellent. The clutch is informative, the pedal has a long travel, which allows you to gently get under way.

And what an engine here! The engine, despite the modest volume of 1. l, allows you to close your eyes to the meager configuration. Instant response to pressing the gas pedal, excellent traction at low revs make it possible to ride in any conditions. You can calmly trudge in a traffic jam at about 700 rpm in second gear, and if necessary, sharply pressing the accelerator, shoot forward. Acceleration dynamics is unexpected from such and such a modest machine. The gears are short: at second speed it barely reaches 80 km / h.

But the dynamics does not leave indifferent. Smooth and powerful acceleration from low revs is completed by an excellent release of additional "horses" at about 4,000 rpm. The pick-up feels good. And if at this time you do not catch the right moment to change gears, the engine freezes on the rev limiter. Temperament, straight!
